I am beta testing Mac OSX V15 Catalina. Download Manager S3 worked through public beta 4. Apple totally broke Firefox in beta 5 due to an Apple Catalina bug. Firefox was unusable (crash on launch) for 2.5 weeks.

Catalina Public Beta 6 was released a few days ago. It broke Download Manager S3. Downloads no longer appear in the Download History Window/Tab. And of course the Download bar can only display what is in the download history, so it doesn't work either. It will display but it is empty.

Downloads continue to occur but the only way to see them is in the Firefox Download Window.

I have used Download Manager S3 for many years and depend upon it to monitor and manage my downloads.

Public Beta Catalina V6 is Developer Beta V7.

Can you please get a copy of the beta Mac OS, load it and tweak your code to make Download Manager S3 work again under Catalina. The preferences still show up, the menu bar icon still works, the download manager window appears. There are just now downloads showing up even though files are downloading.

I really hope you can fix your software.

After further testing I discovered that Download Manager S3 works in the Chrome browser. This is a Firefox bug.

In Firefox 69 don't work resume download. When at download larger file quit Firefox so after re-start Firefoxu don't auto- resume even don't go file manually resume download. Same problem with be found when manually pause download - quit Firefox - after some time run Firefox and resume download don't working.

Yet here is one request for it to with show download bar don't displayed above page, but page with about height download bar move up.

For some reason, when downloading images (mainly JPEG's), it gets stuck in "non-complete" state and doesn't go away. The files are downloaded OK. The bar shows 100%. However, it is still "incomplete".

Manually Pause/Cancel a few times sometimes do the trick. Also "open containing folder" usually does the trick, but very troublesome.

This is truly an excellent add-on for Firefox (or in my case, for Waterfox), many thanks for developing and maintaining it.

When I first started using the add-on and double-clicked on a button in the Downloads Bar then the downloaded file would open directly (such as a PDF document opening directly in the Windows app that I use for reading and editing PDF documents).

But then, for reasons unknown to me, something changed for the worse. Now when I click on a button in the Downloads Bar instead of directly opening the PDF (or other file type) a dialog box appears in Windows, which has in the title bar "moz-extension://" followed by a string of hexadecimal characters, and in the body of the dialog box the downloaded file's name followed by a button labelled "Click here to run the file"

Is there a way to eliminate this separate dialog box and g o back to the downloaded file being opened DIRECTLY when the Downloads Bar button is double-clicked? Can I get back to the original behaviour, so that the extra dialog box step no longer appears every time?

This is an annoyance that irritates me every day. because I do lots and lots of downloading every week (often hundreds of files), therefore have to do a lot more locating the dialog box and clicking on a second button each time. I suspect that this might be an issue with Windows 10 (rather than with Waterfox or Firefox), however any help would be greatly appreciated.
